Many trends come from college settings, but frankly, most college students are just out of money. What is the secret of collegiate fashion?
London, Paris, Milan and New York are the fashion capitals of the world. The runway models make their way down the catwalk, strutting their stuff and flaunting the latest styles from the top designers. Designers such as Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein adorn the size-2 bodies of the models. Small fortunes are requested to obtain these trendy new styles. Even though many of the models are college age, many college students cannot afford these looks, especially on a collegiate budget.
College students are notorious for being broke, but somehow they still seem to be well-dressed and up-to-date with the latest styles and designer clothes like Lacoste, Gucci & Armani but to name a few. Although many cannot quite raise the money to purchase a camisole from top notch designer Karen Kane, they are able to side-step the cost and find the latest trends for a fraction of the price.
